HFS Quintana Roo

Rising 4-year-old | British Warmblood | 165cm | Unbroken

HFS Quintana Roo is an exciting young British Warmblood gelding by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Hos D’o x Vaillant, combining proven showjumping bloodlines with an athletic build, natural ability and a lovely temperament.

Standing at approximately 165cm, HFS Quintana Roo is well balanced and athletic, with all the attributes to develop into a talented showjumping or eventing prospect. He already demonstrates a natural aptitude for jumping, showing scope, agility and a super attitude towards learning.

Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve is an internationally renowned showjumping stallion who competed successfully at 1.60m Grand Prix level and has produced numerous successful performers. His influence makes him a highly appealing sire for those looking for athleticism, jumping ability and a competitive future.

Hos D’o further strengthens Roo’s pedigree, having competed at 1.60m level himself. By Dollar Dela Pierre, a son of the legendary Quidam de Revel, and out of Noisette des Vaux, by the Olympic and World Championship-winning stallion Cumano, Hos D’o brings together influential international jumping bloodlines. His progeny have also demonstrated their ability across the sport, with offspring recorded competing up to 1.60m.

HFS Quintana Roo is unbroken and offers an exciting opportunity for someone to produce and develop a quality young horse from the beginning of his ridden career. He is exceptionally well handled and friendly, with excellent ground manners and a calm temperament. His willing attitude provides a lovely foundation for his future education.

With his quality breeding, natural jumping ability and appealing character, Roo offers an exciting prospect for someone looking to produce a talented young horse for the future.

Kiss by a rose

Rose is a 11yr chestnut mare, she’s been in the same home for the last 5 years and has been ridden the whole time by a small petite girl. She is competitive, genuine, fun mare who is consistently clear round 130/135.

Earlier this year she jumped 7 130/135 classes in sunshine tour and was clear and placed in 6 of them, ending her tour with a win in the 135 small tour final. She’s extremely easy to ride, not spooky or silly. She is a competitive mare and therefore would suit a competitive rider, would also suit a junior coming off ponies wanting an easy transition on to horses. While in Italy she was placed in several 130 classes in the summer. She is a serious diesel horse for someone looking to go out and be competitive on straight away.

Rose is very hassle free on the grounds, easy to shoe, dentist, clip, travels easy next to anyone. She has done long trips to sunshine tour and Italy. She has a very easy going temperament, we bought her when I was 15 and very inexperienced and she has taught me everything I know, including several international wins, including Chepstow gold tour final 2024

Full history known and no health concerns

Very genuine reason for sale as rider needs to make space for young horses coming through.

Gideon II — 15yo 16.2hh Gelding

A very exciting opportunity to acquire Gideon II, a hugely experienced 4* event horse with a vast competition record.

Gideon has competed at a huge amount of international events—with notable highlights including Bramham 4*L and European Championships.

In the last couple of years he has been enjoyed at the lower levels by a young rider, giving him valuable experience as a schoolmaster.

Although he has an impressive eventing CV, Gideon has all the qualities to make a fantastic pure dressage horse. He has three beautiful, expressive paces, correctly established changes and a real talent for progression. His quality of movement and established training give him enormous potential to develop a successful second career in the dressage arena.

Away from competition, Gideon is a pleasure to have around. He is extremely well handled, straightforward on the ground and travels exceptionally well. His wealth of experience means he is confident and accustomed to the demands of travelling and competing.

A rare opportunity to acquire a horse with top-level eventing experience, proven competition form and genuine dressage potential. He would be an exciting prospect for someone looking for a talented horse to enjoy, whether continuing his eventing career or taking him into pure dressage.
