Gwash has been with us nearly all of his career and ran a lot of good races. He just doesn't enjoy racing anymore but has so much to offer someone.

He is adored and we want to find him a forever partner. One to one is important to him as he is sensitive and once a partnership is matched the fun is endless.

He is kind and genuine.

He is currently being professionally retrained with a top level event rider.

He is loving his retraining so far

He moves well and goes nicely in an outline. He jumps coloured poles well and he is careful.

He has hacked out and marched infront with no issues.

He has no vices

He is a bit nervous of the vet and farrier but has hit so much better and all he ever needs is a bit of sedalin an hour before either arrive

He could do any job at a fun level

He is a pleasure to have around and a real character

He has only been out of racing a month so is still relatively race fit so needs to fill back out into his frame this winter.

Hence price but he needs to find his person

9yr old TB mare by Dragon Pulse she is an ex flat racer. Registered RoR

Eye catching mare who is ready to be very competitive at 90cm eventing moving up to 100 and serious Grassroots potential. She is suited to a competitive older teen C+ B test standard/mother daughter/son share. Not for a novice rider/child coming off ponies, more suited to an experienced competitive home and we would love to see her go on and show her potential to the full.

She is very confident at 90cm level and will move up fairly quickly to 1m with the right rider and more consistent work on the flat will result in sub 30 dressage very soon. Lightly competed this year due to A levels and only for sale as daughter is off on a gap year.

Loves XC and has competed up to 1m qualifying senior tetrathlon Champs 2025 and 90cm eventing.

Also clear XC West Wilts 90cm BE with us 2025 and double clear Oxtalls BE 90cm Spring 2026. Clear XC Pontispool BE90 Sept 26 and just been double clear for 10th place at Cirencester Park 90cm.

She is good in traffic, to load and shoe. Hacks out alone and in company. I enjoy a good long hack with friends on her, she is not a plod but a fun forward going ride.

Loves a trip to the gallops, loves seeing the trailer coming out and wondering where she is going next but is equally very calm about it all and to load , travels like a dream and happily stands in or out of the trailer. She is very easy in this respect so good for someone with no help.

We want the best for this horse as she is a fabulous competitor! She is sound, fit and well .She will be attending RC clinics and hacking with me (62) when daughter goes and another PC friend will compete her while waiting to find the best fit for her. An ambitious teen/ adult will have plenty of success and fun with her.

Plenty of videos to share.

Very handsome and kind 6yo gelding, approx 15.3hh.

*Sensible offers considered to a good home*

Val has been coming on very well. He moves well, has a great attitude to work and has been learning to jump, showing himself to be very willing. He is good to travel and load, and has been to SJ course hire and jumped everything. He has started some prelim dressage and course hire/clear round SJ etc.

He was bought as a hack by his current owner, who as time passed realised he just didn't have the time to come and ride him (owner lives in London) so he sent him to us in April for further schooling and sale.

This is a lovely uncomplicated horse who is learning quickly and carries himself nicely.

He is a TB by Bated Breath and out of Commence - eligible all ROR. Registered name "Justwatchmestrugle"

Fergus has the ability to progress successfully within all disciplines.

Fergus hacks happily both alone and in company. He is easy to do in every way and is a kind, genuine horse who is a pleasure to look after.

Don’t miss the opportunity to have this amazing horse just because he’s an ex racehorse. I’d pick him over a warmblood any day.

Absolutely cracking TB gelding available, 9 years old, 16 hh.

I don't know where to start with this super fun little horse he is one of the easiest horses to do, travels well, stands on his own in the trailer at a show, good to shoe and clip, hacks alone or in company. Just a pleasure to have around, stick food in front of him and you're onto a winner!

He came out of racing after a win over hurdles and also placed chasing, end of October 2024 due to me convincing the trainer he’s too good a jumper to be a race horse and needs to be a snow jumper.

Jumping 90cm easily, I don’t do BSJA hence why he hasn’t been registered but he is more than capable of jumping the BS tracks and has a very carful, scopey jump for the bigger tracks.

Everyone loves him at shows and training saying what a nice horse he is and then I can hear when he jumps is WOW!

Has also been to BSJA and Thoughbred aftercare programme training where he behaves really well. Eligible for ROR and moves well on the flat, meaning he could also excel in the show ring and dressage. He has been shown in-hand in hack and ROR classes.

He has been Cross country schooling and Arena XC schooling. Really good in the big open field, jumped everything that was asked and loved going through the water.

We did meet up with the Hunt whilst out hacking and joined them so a bit which he loved. Didn’t mind leaving the field to hack back home on his own.

Just a great all round horse that i know would excel in the right home. He’s very chilled out and relaxed with turn out, I almost feel I need to oat him up he’s so relaxed. Does perk up more at a show than at home. He is sharper without turn out but what horse isn’t? So Wouldn't be a complete novices ride. He’s good to turn out on his own or with others.

He goes in a rubber bit and loves a very light contact with confidence coming from the leg. Once he gets that bond and trust with his rider he’d do anything for them.

He came straight out of racing and to a show and didn't put a foot wrong, behaving like pro. Just showing what a fabulous attitude he has, just can't sing his praises enough.

Up to date with physio, teeth, shoeing etc. No stable vices

Never lame, sick or sorry just a fun horse looking for a fun owner to carry on with!

Lovely 10-year-old mare standing at 15.2hh. A really sweet, genuine horse who is easy to handle and a pleasure to have around.

She is a fantastic hack both alone and in company, and is excellent in traffic, including heavy traffic. She is good to box, travel, clip, catch and shoe, with no vices or issues.

She jumps really nicely and schools well, making her a very versatile mare. She turns out happily in a mixed herd and is straightforward in all aspects of her care.

She would make a lovely mother-and-daughter share, happy hacker or low-level competition horse. She could also suit a good teenager moving onto horses and would make a super Pony Club/Riding Club type.

A genuinely lovely mare with a lot to offer the right home.

Can be tried and is open to vetting.

Koshi is the sweetest, most affectionate horse. He just loves a fuss. He’s 16.1hh, bright bay, TB gelding, 13 years.

Has been professional schooled by myself and a professional show jumper over a 2 year period before going out on loan for 14 months where he mainly hacked &; did hound exercises

He is now come back to me for schooling and to find his forever home !

No sensible offer refused to find in the best Home before winter

He’s going well on the flat and can now do a proper balanced, collected 10m circle in canter but, he is green and still needs consistent schooling work. He has been XC schooling a fair few times Before going out on loan and loves it and he’s also started being properly introduced to SJ. He can do 80cm comfortably from a trot already, teaching him to use himself and not race at a fence. He is quick upfront and is careful.

He is good to catch, box, shoe, in traffic, pick his feet out, clip etc. He is also good with dogs, and is unphased by sheep, cows and pigs! He is lovely with other horses. Nothing fazes him. He is also great to hack either alone or in company.

He is up to date with jabs, farrier, teeth, saddler, worming and ready to go on and do a job now. He should be out and about competing this year with someone who has more time.

He has a fully adjustable, close contact Fairfax black leather jump saddle that was bought new for him that can be sold by desperate negotiation

He is snaffled mouthed, and is ridden in a loose ring with a running martingale for jumping.

He is French and impeccably bred, out of Juddemont. RoR eligible. Won a lot in his day. He came to the UK as a 6yo, but never really made waves here, like in France. 2 years after leaving France

An absolute sweetheart both on the ground and under saddle, she is a genuine, kind and willing filly with a lovely attitude to her work.

Since leaving racing she has been lightly schooled and hacked, hacking alone and in company and having seen traffic, farm machinery and trotting poles.

Currently living out in a mixed herd, although has been stabled previously. No known vices or health issues.

✨🤎 HAYMITCH THE EVENTER IN THE MAKING 🤎✨

Approx. 16hh | 8-Year-Old Bay Thoroughbred Gelding | Hereford

If you are looking for a genuine, kind, beautifully produced Thoroughbred who is already incredibly well established. Haymitch deserves your attention.

This is a horse who has been properly produced, properly exposed and given the experience to give his next rider an enormous head start. ✨

Haymitch is a super sweet, laid-back gelding with an exceptionally kind temperament. He is calm, beautifully mannered and uncomplicated to have around, but underneath that sensible exterior is a horse with real athleticism, enthusiasm and a genuine love for his job.

🤎 CROSS COUNTRY A REAL HIGHLIGHT

Haymitch has been extensively XC schooled and absolutely loves it.

He is brave, genuine and incredibly willing, tackling a wide variety of fences and questions with confidence. He enjoys having something to think about and gets better and better the more he sees.

He isn’t a horse who needs convincing to jump he wants to get to the other side.

He has also been out competing at hunter trials, gaining valuable experience in a competition environment and proving that his XC schooling translates beautifully when out in the real world.

For someone wanting an eventing horse, this is a huge advantage.

Rather than starting with a blank canvas, you have a horse who has already had extensive exposure to XC, hunter trials, open spaces and different environments.

✨ He is practically ready-made for someone wanting to go eventing. ✨

His athletic jump, bravery and natural confidence make him an incredibly exciting prospect for grassroots eventing, Riding Club eventing and beyond.

🤎 AND NOW… HUNTING & HOUND EXERCISE

Haymitch has also been hound exercising and out on escorted rides, and this is another area where he really comes alive.

He loves being out in the open, seeing the world and being part of the action. He has the sensible brain you want when riding in company, whilst still having enough enthusiasm and presence to make it exciting.

He is now being taken into the autumn trail-hunting and hound exercise season, giving his next rider the opportunity to continue building that valuable experience in a completely different environment.

That sort of exposure is invaluable for a future eventer and Haymitch is taking it all in his stride. 🤎

✨ UNDER SADDLE

Haymitch is beautifully schooled with three balanced, expressive paces.

He is much more “woah” than “go”, riding in a lovely rhythm without being sharp, hot or strong.

On the flat he is straightforward, genuine and confidence-giving, whilst when you take him XC or hunting you see the extra gears, athleticism and enthusiasm that make him so exciting.

He absolutely loves a fence and has an athletic, expressive jump with plenty of scope.

There is a lovely natural confidence to his jumping he sees a fence, understands his job and gets on with it.

🤎 WHO IS HE FOR?

Haymitch has the temperament to be incredibly approachable, and a competent novice would comfortably enjoy him on the flat and hacking.

However, his jumping ability and athleticism deserve to be utilised.

We feel he is best suited to an experienced rider who wants to take a lovely, genuine horse and really go places with him.

He would be a fantastic:

🏆 Grassroots eventing prospect

🏆 Riding Club horse

🏆 Hunter

🏆 Team chaser

🏆 Hunter trial horse

🏆 All-round competition partner

And importantly, he already has so much of the groundwork done.

XC schooling ✔️

Hunter trials ✔️

Open spaces ✔️

Hound exercise ✔️

Escorted rides ✔️

Flatwork ✔️

Jumping ✔️

Competition experience ✔️

Autumn hunting exposure underway ✔️

This isn’t a horse you need to spend months wondering what he might become.

He is already showing you exactly what he can do. ✨

Haymitch is the sort of horse you can take out, have fun with, build your confidence, go eventing, hunt, team chase and create a proper partnership with.

A genuinely lovely Thoroughbred with the temperament, training, experience and ability to become someone’s serious competition horse and best friend. 🤎

7yr old 16hh TB gelding, ROR eligible

Passed a recent 5 stage vetting

Leo is a total gem of a horse - his temperament is just incredible and he’s one of the easiest horses I’ve ever had in. He ticks so many boxes and would do a lot of jobs very well.

He schools beautifully, he’s soft in the mouth, well balanced with good lateral work, medium trot and rein back. He will step up or down and adjusts himself to his rider really well - he’s naturally quiet and steady but is very happy to offer more for an experienced rider.

He has less experience jumping but you wouldn’t know it - he’s jumped everything I’ve put in front of him first time, he’s very brave and is already happy at 90cm with plenty of scope to go up. He’s neat in front and uses himself well over a fence. Equally as balanced and rhythmical as he is on the flat; he really seems to enjoy his jumping and happily goes up a gear as the fences go up. Very much like a pony to jump, he doesn’t need to be held together or rebalanced.

Leo hacks alone or in company and is excellent in traffic. I’ve taken him in our field and popped some logs and a ditch which he took in his stride. He’d definitely be bold enough to event.

And as a little bonus he’s super cool bridleless! There’s not many horses I’d try bridleless after knowing them for a couple of weeks but Leo is just that much of a good boy.

Does all the usual stuff very easily - catches, loads and travels well, good for the farrier, good in the stable with no vices.

Turns out well with other horses - he has excellent social skills and I think he’d be very happy on group or paired turnout.

He is here with me on sales livery and his owners are keen to find him a loving, long term home.

A lovely straight forward horse with a fantastic, kind attitude.

Straight moving, no vices, easy to do in every way both on and off.

Hacks out alone or in company. Very good with traffic and farm machinery. Snaffle mouthed and not at all strong.

Currently trail hunting regularly and proving very sensible and straight forward. Will go up front on her own and very happy in the field.

Has also been show jumping and xc schooling and showed a very willing forward attitude to anything asked. Jumped water trays, ditches, skinnies, fillers and went through water all first time.

Could also qualify for ROR classes. Looking for a loving home to further her potential.

  • Has attended an arena hire & been XC schooling
  • Has all the attributes to give the right person lots of fun
  • Genuine and more gelding than mare super hardy game type

Diddy has just retired from racing so is ROR eligible and is ready for her own partner in crime to have lots of fun with.

Diddy does basic flatwork, she has three balanced smart flashy paces. She hasn’t done any flatwork previously so it’s all a learning curve, she’s getting better every time. She is forward going but willing to learn and always tries her best.

She has been to an arena hire, happily popping a course of showjumps and been cross-country schooling. She has ran over hurdles a couple of times previously. She loves jumping, this is her forte! She’s super clever. She isn’t phased by anything just needs someone to spend some time doing grids with her and getting her back on her hocks over poles. However, XC she is a machine. She will take you into anything. Brave as a lion and has plenty of scope, despite her size. Seen all types of fillers, basic XC jumps, hedges, ditches & water. She is a real hardy fun mare who’ll give you her all.

She is forward going but straightforward & safe. She doesn’t need any leg but she listens and has brakes. She is just a lady on a mission who likes to get on with things. Absolutely no malice or a bad bone in her body. She just gets a little excited so needs some patient & understanding. With the right person she’ll be so much fun. She just loves her work. More gelding than mare in every way.

She is very laid back on the ground. She’s well mannered with a very genuine character, loves fuss and mints. Happily stands tied up in the yard and falls asleep whilst she’s being brushed.

Has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes, she isn’t fazed by anything. She’s seen all types of traffic. She is an easy going independant person.

She has a low mileage and last ran 04/09 so is fully fit. Overstocked and hasn’t shown enough to continue with. Currently on the walker and gets ridden a few times a week. Has lived in & out in company. Good to shoe, clip, box & travel. No vices. No sarcoids. Full history known as she’s a homebred. Not suitable for a novice or nervous riders.

She has a small fencing scar around her off hind cannon which doesn’t affect her and could be covered if required.

No loans. No trials. No payment plans. No timewasters or day trippers we are a very busy yard. Serious enquiries only.

Direct from trainer advertised on behalf of owner/breeder. Non-racing agreement in place.

I have owned Laz for the last six years when he came out of racing. He retired due to a tendon injury, but that has never stopped him from doing anything. He also has two sarcoids on the inside of his hind leg but they have never bothered him.

We have been on many adventures together such as going to the beach, forest hacks and local shows. He schools nicely on the flat. He hacks alone or in company and is excellent in all kinds of traffic. He is good to clip, load, shoe and incredibly easy to handle

He is a lovely character and is good to do; clip, shoe, ect..

He is still green in the school but improving and enjoys his work and learning.

Troy loves jumping however hasn’t done much of this but always happy to learn and showing scope. However has proved brave and bold out cross country

He is good to hack but can be spooky and stubborn at times so better in company. He has been on pub rides, will go front or back.

He would suit an experienced rider that understands the level of retraining he is in and is willing to spend the time bringing him on. So will only go to the most suitable person.

Loans would be considered

Jackie is a lovely looking mare with a great temperament and a fabulous trainable attitude.

She raced in GB and is eligible for ROR. She was retired from racing in early 2025 (due to not being fast enough) and had a few months retraining with a five star event rider with whom she did a little bit of hacking but mainly flatwork in the arena. She also went to a dressage competition, proving to be very sensible and well behaved.

Jackie has been with me for the last year. She has been hacked by me, alone and in company, and schooled occasionally by a couple of friends as flatwork isn't really my strength. She is lovely to handle with great manners and attitude and I am only selling her as I haven’t been able to ride her as much as expected due to health reasons and change in my personal circumstances.

Jackie is excellent to clip, shoe, load and in traffic. Before I bought her she was living out during the day and in at night but she has been able to live out 24/7 whilst with me and seems happy with either. She’s used to meeting dogs and wild ponies/cattle/sheep out hacking & is good in open spaces She is up to date with her vaccinations and teeth (Sept 2026) and was seen by a physio when I first bought her.

She enjoys working in the school and would be particularly suitable for someone who enjoys this too as, although she is a little out of practice at the moment, she has shown great trainability and promise as a grassroots dressage horse. She currently wouldn't be suitable for a novice rider due to her age and recent lack of experience.

Videos available of school work from last Autumn.

Tack available by separate negotiation.

Non-registered TB not eligible ROR

Arrived from the stud where she was born last October, lightly backed then turned away. Brought back in and has hacked all summer, lunges well and has just started her ridden work in the arena, she has a very trainable attitude to work with three good paces, although still very green and inconsistent in canter, worked over poles but not jumped, she is forward going but not fizzy, ready for someone to continue the good start she’s had.

Hacks alone/company not fazed by any traffic we’ve met so far. Not spooky but things can make her jump, never spun, reared, bucked or bolted. Can also be led from another horse.

Although 6yrs she has the experience of a 4yr old so please only competent riders with young horse experience.

Good to catch, loves being groomed and is barefoot, never been clipped and the only time she’s travelled was when she came to me but was as good as gold.

Tibby is light weight and quite narrow but the rider in the photos is 5’8. She has no splints but has some small scars on her legs from living in a field within a herd of youngsters for her first five years!
