• Harley has done lots of hacking, some showing, farm rides and been a general all-rounder

Harley is a pure Irish draught bred at the Bowland stud. He has been in the same home since a three-year-old as a family horse.

Both mother and daughter have shared the horse but an illness and time forces sad sale.

Harley has done lots of hacking, some showing, farm rides and been a general all-rounder.

He has no vices and is a gentle giant. He is not a novice ride as even though he is not nasty he is a character and can have a spring in his step.

Harley would suit a competent rider who would like to do a bit of everything and have lots of fun.

Reluctant sale due to loss of grazing. Halter broken only.

Very kind temperament but we’ve done very little with him and he’s been left to mature.

Lovely cream palomino.

Lives out all year round. Good doer.

• Fully feathered with full mane and tail
• Perfect riding club/ BD associated champs prospect
• Well mannered and good to do

Hamish is a 2014 traditional cob with so much to offer. He is pleasingly forward, quick to learn and enjoys a job. He is good to hack and he loads and travels well. Good for farrier, vet, etc. He is currently barefoot.

Hamish definitely shows a flare for dressage and would enjoy a home where he can show his flying feathers off! He is a good prospect for a competitive riding club or a British Dressage home, and I'm sure he'd do well at Associated Championships.

He has been lightly shown, and proved popular with judges, remaining polite and well behaved in large classes.

Hamish is not a dope on a rope - he is a smart cob with a brain, and consequently would better suit a competent rider that wants to go and do things with him. He is a sweet boy in the stable, and he enjoys a good groom and a massage.

Prior to coming to us, Hamish had been in the same home for eight years and enjoyed a variety of riding club events. Sadly, for sale only because my daughter has lost interest.

Some tack and rugs available by separate negotiation.

• Fabulous attitude to life and work
• A temperament you just fall in love with
• Just wants to please

This sweet boy is being sold on behalf of a friend of ours who had to go into hospital for an operation.

He has a great attitude to life and his work, and only wants to please. He has the most trainable temperament and is really coming on well.

We have found him easy-going and very sensible. We took him x country schooling to see how he behaved in a new and wide open space. He was perfect and took everything in.

We have also found him great to hack on the roads in traffic.

A really lovely little horse to suit all members of the family, he has the loveliest temperament that you just can't help but fall in love with.

He recently passed a 5-stage vetting as fit for purpose; however, it was noted that he does have a cataract in one of his eyes.

• He has been on hunt rides and xc schooling
• Nicely schooled on the flat
• He has been autumn hunting

Lovely young horse looking for new 🏡

4year old maxi cob gelding. Approximately 16.1

Onyx is a pleasure to have around. Always wants to please and improves every time he is ridden or learns anything new. He has been on hunt rides and xc schooling, arena hires and on the gallops several times. He is more than happy to take the lead and walks out with lots of confidence, equally happy to tuck in behind and doesn’t get strong or silly. Nicely schooled on the flat and brilliant out hacking. Happy in company but has also done lots on his own. Not at all spooky and doesn’t have to be ridden every day.

He has been autumn hunting half a dozen times and has really enjoyed it. Took everything in his stride and very good with the hounds. He is up to date with jabs, teeth, back and worming. Good to clip box and shoe. Lovely with others in the field. Minds his own business. Not bothered about being on his own or in a big group.

• He’s a lovely hunter type or all rounder horse
• Broken and produced slowly & correctly

Meet the lovely Dave!

He’s a 17.1 4yo 3/4 ID x ISH gelding. Homebred so full history known, his dam evented successfully & his sire showjumped to 1.20 and is a very smart all rounder ID stallion breeding horses with excellent temperaments.

Dave has been broken and produced slowly & correctly for a horse of his size.

He is schooling nicely and happily popping fences. He has hacked out on his own (with human on bike) and other horses and been good in traffic and open spaces.

Dave is now ready for someone to make their own, he’s a lovely hunter type or all rounder horse.

Dave is good to shoe, load, travel, groom, turnout/catch etc.

Due to his size and age no nervous novices, seen on sales livery in lingfield Surrey

- Must be sane and sensible out hacking and be used to a variety of things, including cyclists, various machinery and manage motorway bridges and train bridges with encouragement.

- Horse will be highly pampered, enjoying lots of grooming sessions and cuddles! Must be a people person and like spending lots of time with me, as will be on assisted DIY.

- Enjoy schooling max twice a week, as owner would like to learn and grow with the horse, but this would always be varied as I get bored in the school too!

- Possibility of dressage shows, small clear rounds in the future. Bonus points if will jump the odd log now and again!

- Will receive daily turnout, including possibility of 24/7 turnout in the summer. Stabled overnight in winter.

• Domi has a kind character and loves her cuddles

Cob Piebald 15hh 12 years old

Domi has been the extremely loved partner for my daughter since she was 12, and they have been growing together over the last 2 years.

Domi has a kind character and loves her cuddles, especially if they are followed by a treat. She has very good ground manners, never malicious or otherwise badly behaved.

Domi has been a first horse for my daughter and has seen her progress to jumping 70cm. This is a very sad sale as my daughter now needs to move on something bigger with more jump potential. However given chance, she would just keep Domi.

Domi is a very smart mare and willing to learn new things. She has shown potential for a dressage, but unfortunately not something may daughter wanted to pursue. She has a massive potential to make a lovely show cob.

Domi is at her best when in varied regular work. Domi loves to hack (she didn’t hack at all before coming to us) and is good with traffic, farm machinery or in an open spaces. Hacks well in company and will hack alone but requires more confidence from her rider when not with friends. That said, she is quite happy to hack with my daughter and me walking behind them and is constantly getting braver. She will happily just safely walk and gently trot (mother hack) or have a proper canter and gallop (daughter hack).

Easy to catch, loads and travels well, good for farrier and dentist. She can be bit sensitive for clipping, half clip is absolutely fine, but I do sedate for full clip (I’m not confident clipping).

Currently living outside during day and stabled nighttime.

Up to date with saddle fit, physio, teeth and vaccination.

Passed a 5 stage vetting 2 years ago with a one minor point-happy to discuss on enquiry. Never have been sick or sorry.

Will come with tack.

Ideal new home would be mother/daughter share, competent teenager or small adult who will enjoy long hacks, occasional poles/jumps and some dressage. While she is competent at 60/70cm course and has comfortably jumped 80cm at home, this is not her most favourite activity and can result in her occasional planting and refusing work in the arena. That said she's done that only with kids. Only for this, I would say that she is not ideally suited for a complete novice.

We really don’t want to let her go as we adore her but we can’t keep them all! New owner must be prepared to stay in touch.

Hacking, schooling and jumping videos available on request.
