Louie, 9 yo 11.3 section A gelding

Louie has spent the whole summer doing lots of lead rein with my 5 yo ( who was fairly wobbly in the beginning which he did not mind! ). We’ve always come back with rosettes from Lead rein show pony, M and M, mini jumping , LR workers , handy pony and minion fancy dress! He’s also ridden him in walk and trot off the lead up the lanes. Sadly he isn’t interested enough to justify keeping him for the winter and we have very little land and homebreds to come in.

Recently qualified for TSR amateur of the year show in the LR show Pony. Has been well behaved to take out everywhere.

Off the lead rein he has mainly been ridden and schooled by small nanny and recently been ridden a couple of times in the area/fields by a competent 9 yo girl. Not been ridden off the lead with tiny tots hence not advertised as a first pony but may well be In 6 months time if an older sibling/small adult carried on his production.

Came to us earlier in the year very well fed and looked after but low mileage for his age so not the finished article but a lot of pony for the money. Never done anything nasty or unpredictable,straight and genuine.

Had a super step and jump .. potentially could make a top class cradle stakes worker with a little more mileage.

No vices, kind genuine pony. Vaccinated. Clipped him a week ago with no sedation.

Good with farrier / loads well etc . Travels in trailer and lorry. Typical Welsh can be a bit pushy if allowed but no malice in him. My 5 yo leads/loads/handles him etc. Forward responsive pony on and off the lead rein , not a plod but not strong.

‘Shorty’ has a fantastic temperament both on and off the ground, he was lightly backed when he arrived with us and has gone from strength to strength. Schooled at home both on and off the lead, has been for a fun ride around Devils Glen XC. He LOVES kids and has a really gorgeous willing to please attitude.

Clean limbed, snaffle mouthed, doesn’t take hours of work or need to be ridden everyday.

He did Dublin with no plugs, calmers and 10 mins work.

With the correct further education he will also make a top cradles / FR SHP/Junior m&m whp. He really is a star of the future. Although he measures 120cm he has great depth and has carried a tall jockey with ease.

We took him off the market in the summer but unfortunately our jockey is now out of class. I would love to keep in touch and potentially have him back one day for our own son, therefore home is of utmost importance for this gorgeous little pony, he really is destined to be a star.

She was shown as a 2/3yr old then put in foal at 4 but unfortunately lost her foal this year, no fault from her. Since the loss of her foal she’s been shown in hand with great success and very lightly backed. Cracker has been a much loved member of our family, giving both of my children so much fun and confidence as they have learnt to ride. Sadly, he is now outgrown and looking for his next little jockey to make memories with. 

A regular at Pony Club rallies, competitions and camp, Cracker has enjoyed a varied life including XC, mounted games, dressage, show jumping and hunting, most of which he has done on the lead rein. He has competed successfully at this years Pony Club SJ mini championships as well as various other local shows, regularly in the ribbons.

Cracker has a lovely temperament and enjoys attention. He loves a fuss and is kind and patient for little ones to groom, cuddle and make a fuss of. He is good to catch, shoe, clip, load and travel. 

Great in traffic & happy being led from another horse. He turns out happily with mares or geldings and is content with living in or out. No previous laminitis, although we do watch his weight over the spring and summer months and restrict grazing to avoid any problems. We sold her back mid 2023 to a superb home in Scotland for a super nervous child to be a first ridden pony and she fulfilled that job 10x over. She wasn’t shown on the county circuit (due to their location) but was shown locally and won hundreds of red rosettes and sashes. Unfortunately the young girl outgrew her and I was offered her back and jumped at the chance to purchase her back for my little boy.. with my little boy only being 1, he’s still got two years until he can ride in the ring and therefore it would be a shame to waste her as a play pony at home when she can teach another little child in the mean time.

She absolutely loves her job and would be a HOYS winning quality LR/FR/jnr or open ridden. She’s also been around full sets of worker fences and would make a super prospect for the HOYS junior or open worker tracks.

She has been to pony club, dressage and SJ and just loves to have a job- however at this time I’m only looking for a top show home/working hunter home so I will not consider a PC home OR breeding home sorry.

Swan is excellent to do in every way, and you don’t know you have her. I’m not a mare person at all, but I love her so much hence I’ve brought her back. She is currently down with Sam Roberts to bring into work and school. Completely snaffle mouthed.

Percy has had a very successful in hand career as a stallion before we bought him for my daughter to enjoy as a lr/fr pony, he was professionally started, full history is known and he has been professionally schooled whilst we have owned him.

We have put a lot of effort into Percy, he is a true child’s pony, always proved safe and calm to ride.

He has more woah than go but does literally go off your voice. He has 3 great paces and will step up or down a gear when asked, he has been incredible teaching Hattie to ride off the lead. Sammy is a very special pony to us. He came to us starting as a lead rein as a step up from our now retired child's starting pony. He took my daughter off of lead rein and has truly been the love of her life!

Showing is something I have a passion for and he has had numerous wins and sashes, is consistently in the top pull-ins and has taken numerous show championships firstly as M&M and more recent as SHP. He truly knows his job and absolutely shines in the show ring.

He has been a fantastic lead-rein pony, excelling in that role. He has also turned his hoof to Pony Club on and off the lead rein during the years we have had him, and at just 12 years old, there is absolutely no reason his showing career needs to be his primary job going forward he just needs his next child to love.

Sammy is an athletic, sporty and switched-on little pony. On lead rein he is by your side, listenening to his handler, for a small person FR with little legs not reaching the end of saddle flaps he will let them pootle about, as they grew to a confident & stronger FR he will Go up the gears and will teach them when they get it right. For a super confident & able FR child or 2nd pony he is super fun. With his flashy moves and being well schooled to his scopey jump - he'll teach all.

He isnt a kick-along

Other than with a tiny tot fr and never flighty.

he is super safe and has his more chilled days and yet he is also incredibly compliant, responsive and has good brakes and steering. He really is something to watch and turns heads wherever he goes. His floaty movement is beautiful, and he is a real little athlete.

He has a careful, scopey jump and won't knock a thing. He hacks alone or in company, happily goes in front or behind and is a lovely pony to have around.

True kids pony who steps up and down the gears depending on the rider. You name it, he’s done it.

He has taken kids off the lead rein and he’s jumped round RI and HOYS with placings…he’s always safe and sensible and is an extremely easy and reliable pony in all ways. Lives out most of the time.

He hunted and did PC prior to his current owner and since he’s been with us he has easily qualified RIHS and HOYS in the 122cm M+M WHP classes, took his jockey around her first ever hoys final, plus this year he qualified for RIHS Cradle Stakes with a borrowed 9yo child and finished 7th at the final.

No track is too big / spooky / technical for him. He knows exactly where his feet are and is extremely scopey so easily looks after himself and would have the scope to also jump the nursery stakes classes if you wanted to. He’ll fill your child with confidence that they can jump the moon!

I can’t stress enough how easy this pony is. He's good for everything including vet, farrier etc. He travels brilliantly and never makes a fuss being taken away/ having others taken off and will stand in the lorry all day. He is also easy to stand by the ring or lorry.

Substantial price for this true mothers' dream pony but home is of course very important. We will miss him dreadfully so please no picture collectors, dealers or timewasters.
