Very fast against the clock and turns on sixpence. 2nd in the bike and ride and 3rd on the Grand Prix at Spooktacular. Loves an atmosphere, 2nd pyecombe mini major, the list goes on. A really fun pony with a super temperament. Loves xc, jumped water ditches etc.

Hacks out alone and in company. Good to load, farrier, catch etc. my daughter rides him back and forth to the field bareback with no headcolllar. They have an amazing bond but a massive growth spurt means at 5ft 1 she is just so tall on him now and we have moved onto bigger ponies. Cadlanvalley Atlantis. Beautiful inside and out with lovely old fashioned breeding. We have owned Atlantis for six years and produced her from just backed aged nine. Super low mileage and always lightly jumped. She is a truly wonderful pony.

BS £443, 124 points. In 2025 she won £245 BS, 72 points from a light schedule. Sadly my girl grew too tall for her for competitions so we called time on competing her. She has won and placed in competitive BS 80cm opens (rider over age for BN) against some very good JA ponies. Decent BS record for non BS regulars and a slightly 'win or bust' rider! Trailblazers finals 2022 and 2023 (I jumped her in the adults on ponies too in 2022 and placed every day, and had a blast). Academy sessions. Lots of unaffiliated wins and placings too.

Hacked regularly on roads, open fields and tracks alone or in company as we have no school. Great to clip, load, travel, handle, with traffic and trim (barefoot always). Leads beautifully from another and lunges nicely. Up to date vacs and teeth (Nov '25), worm counts etc. Not a single day sick or sorry in five years and on no medication / no health issues. Exceptionally friendly and loves people and cuddles. Enjoys a varied life as part of our herd living out, tracked or yarded. In full work. Does need friends and does need turnout. She does not need to be ridden every day. We find she sparkles the most ridden 3-4 times per week.

She has plenty of Welsh sparkle, opinion and character but really is a complete dude of a pony for a decent child (my daughter was aged 9 when we got her), and for the right child is an outstanding jumping pony with scope to go higher with a lighter and smaller jockey.

We did sell Atlantis in May to a tiny 9yo jockey but despite a really promising first couple of months the lifestyle did not work for her and she became too much for her rider and we took her back. Since stepping off the lorry on her return in September she has not put a foot wrong and we have taken her out to a course hire where she was as brilliant fun as ever.

She will not carry a passenger and does need to be ridden well but if your child is game and brave then she is a pony that will win classes without trying. Jumping comes very easily to her and she loves her airtime. She is a natural athlete and almost never touches a pole. She is one of those that, if a bit stuffy doing flatwork, you pop a jump and she comes alive. Having said that we have, at times, gone a couple of months with no jumping and taken her straight to a show and won!

Please no novices, she can sometimes be gassy, firey and sharp (although we rarely if ever see this side to her) and will show her dislike of an unbalanced rider or one who rides with the handbrake! Not a novice ride. She is a competition pony and likes to get on with the job. Catch her in the mouth or hang on her mouth to steer and she will get unsettled. She needs a rider who allows her forward and has the patience to develop a partnership with her. She is not for a nervous child or parent. Having said all of that she was usually one of the sanest in BS warm ups and day to day is a really easy kind pony to have around and ride.

Kind, knowledgeable and experienced long term loving home sought, ideally with an older sibling / small adult to hop on her if need be. We are in no hurry and can keep her but my daughter is sadly now way too tall for her. Very realistically priced and open to offers. Open to any vetting. We would like first refusal on any future sale. She is a too good a showjumper to be gathering dust but we do want an experienced family to be fair to her.

Very sad sale of our much-loved Olly, who we have owned for 3½ years and is now sadly outgrown. Bought as a second pony for my then 8 year old daughter, Olly has been the making of her as a rider.

Olly is a fabulous second pony for a confident, young rider. He has taken my daughter from jumping 40cm to competing regularly at unaffiliated events, including qualifying for Hickstead, competing at Pony Club Regional Championships in both Show Jumping and dressage as well as Pony Club Mini Championships. Together they have enjoyed loads of hacking, show jumping, dressage, cross country, ODEs, arena eventing and four Pony Club camps.

A brilliant all-rounder, Olly has successfully competed in show jumping up to 80cm, however we feel Olly is happiest around 70cm. Olly has also succesully competed in dressage mostly PC70. He has lovely floating paces and produces a super dressage test. We feel he would excel at dressage with more work put in, we focussed more on SJ until recently. Olly is almost always in the ribbons at shows.

Olly is great to hack, alone or in company (prefers to be in front). He has a lovely temperament on the ground and is straightforward to have around. He is excellent in heavy traffic and not spooky. Olly is easy to catch, clip, load and travel, and good for the farrier and dentist. Up to date with vaccinations and has always been fit and healthy with us. Olly lives out (would also live in) and is fine with both mares and geldings.

Whilst Olly is calm and quiet at home he is forward going and has very occasionally thrown a small excitable buck at a busy competition.

He has given my daughter an incredible amount of confidence, experience and fun, and we would love him to do the same for his next rider. He really has been the best pony we could have asked for to take my daughter to the next level. She loves him!

Dave is a very straightforward, uncomplicated pony with a kind, can-do attitude. This summer he attended his first few shows taking the championship first time out and the reserve 2nd time out behind a mature stallion. He received lovely comments from the judges and behaved impeccably not only whilst showing but also waiting patiently on the trailer.

Dave has been lightly backed, in walk & trot, and has proven himself safe & sane even for an 8 yr old child who has ridden him for us as part of his education, all ridden work has been in large open spaces. Unfortunately, we have no small rider for him ourselves otherwise he would definitely be one to keep.

Dave has good substance, is deep-bodied, well developed and has plenty of bone. With his confirmation, type and unflappable temperament he will undoubtedly go on to be a fabulous all-rounder & childs best friend, or a smart working hunter pony for a more ambitious family.

Although only 3, Dave has shown he will be ready to take out and about under saddle as soon as the spring shows start, however, with his age in mind, although his is an absolute sweetheart, he wouldn't be suitable for a novice rider purely due to him being young and green. He is very polite to handle, good to catch, trim, bath, load/travel and with the farrier. He is up to date with vaccinations, feet, teeth and worming.

Sadly outgrown by my daughter and my son has lost interest. We've had Barnaby for 5 years and we are reluctant to sell him but he needs to give his love to another little person - he has so much love to give. He loves to be cuddled, pampered and is very sociable with everyone. He does have a cheeky side, typical of his breed. But he is not unkind in any way.

Barnaby is forward going so not ideal for a first pony, although he has been a first pony for both my children. He is amazing on the lead rein but is sensitive and would do better with a confident rider to boss him about and who wants to do things with him and have fun. He has turned my daughter into a sensitive and talented rider. He is great at all pony club activities, to hack, both in company or alone, although he always prefers company and he jumps 80cm at home and 60-70cm in competitions.

He has great potential as a mounted games pony and is completely unfazed by anything flappy, cars, heavy machinery, other animals (he lives on a farm) and can be handled easily by children. He is good to shoe (he's been barefoot since I've had him), clip and load/travel.

Goldengrove Maydream is a Welsh Sec B Mare out of Holyoake Czar. Extremely sad sale of Cher as she is very much part of the family and has taught my girls so much over the past few years but is sadly outgrown now.

She has won so many supremes, championships and awards over the years to mention a few.

⭐ Exceptional 11.2hh 6yo Welsh Gelding – Genuine Child’s Hunting - pony club Pony - WH prospect ⭐

6-year-old, 11.2hh Welsh gelding with a great temperament and a fantastic attitude to life.

Despite his young age, he has already proven himself to be an exceptionally safe child’s pony in the hunting field and fun rides. He has been ridden by a nervous young child hunting without mum and always brings his rider home safe and Sound.

His absolute forte is hunting. He genuinely loves his days in the hunting field and has proven himself sensible, brave and reliable. He will happily go at the front or stay behind, isn’t worried about being amongst other horses and will go through water without hesitation. He has also been out over varied countryside and terrain and takes everything in his stride.

He is safe as houses both on and off the lead rein and has looked after his little jockey beautifully.

He has a fantastic pop and thoroughly enjoys his jumping. He is bold without being silly and has plenty of ability to develop further. He would make a super little Pony Club/hunting pony and has the potential to turn his hoof to working hunter, XC, rallies, fun rides, beach rides and general family fun. He needs a bit more leg in the arena but we don’t go in the arena / school that much as it’s not what we enjoy really!

He’s the sort of pony that would take your child out hunting and with a bit of tweaking become a top WH prospect. Loads and travels great stands on the box alone or in company. Unshod but had shoes on for heavy work open to vet.
