• Looking for his forever home

Overview:

Lusty has been my top eventer and heart horse, taking me from 100cm to my first Novice/2*, alongside showjumping up to 115cm (previously up to 130/140cm in Ireland). He is a much-loved horse who has given me so much experience, and I am looking for a very special home for him as I move to Australia.

He is a genuine, established event horse who knows his job. He will look after you cross-country and is a fantastic partner for someone whose dream is to get out and enjoy competing at 100, Novice or 2* level.

Competing:

Lusty produces a low-30s dressage score, with the potential to break into the sub-30s next season. With the experience and mileage, he is a brilliant horse to have between the flags and will look after his rider cross-country. Like many event horses, he requires annual veterinary maintenance to produce his best results.

Hacking & Handling:

An absolute dream to hack and handle, Lusty is good in traffic and hacks happily both alone and in company. He has enjoyed fun rides and pub trips, making him a lovely horse to enjoy outside of competition too. He is good to shoe, clip and wash. He loads and travels happily both alone and in company and can be left on the lorry by himself.

Home Sought:

Although kind enough to carry a young rider, I feel Lusty would be best suited to an experienced rider whose dream is to cruise around Novice and 2* and enjoy having a proven, established event horse to go out and compete and keep forever.

He has been an incredible horse for me, and finding the right home is the priority.

£20,000, open to sensible negotiation for the perfect home.

Please, serious enquiries only; this is a really hard sale of a very beloved horse.
